The Director of Higher Education from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Peter Msoffe (seated center), posed for group photos with Heads of Academic Departments from university institutions in Tanzania on March 8, 2024, in Morogoro, during a two-day training workshop organised by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU). The workshop aimed to facilitate learning and sharing knowledge and skills on quality assurance matters in university education. 

In exercising its supportive role, TCU has been and continues to undertake capacity-building activities for university leaders at different levels on various quality assurance aspects. The aim is to enhance the quality of university education by strengthening governance organs and internal quality assurance systems.
